For years I have had a passion for design and fashion. I dreamed about becoming an interior designer and starting my own lifestyle blog. Fear and uncertainty seemed to always get in my way. I constantly questioned myself …”would people like my style?”, “would anyone be interested in what I had to say?”, "would anyone hire me?".
After years of leading a Digital Marketing team for a large financial company in Los Angeles and climbing the corporate ladder, I realized I was spending more and more time at work and less time with my family or doing the things that made me happy. Familiar story? In the little spare time I had, I began reading blogs and following inspirational woman who all had similar stories. These women had the courage (and ability) to quit their corporate jobs and find a more fulfilling, balanced lifestyle by starting their own companies. They talked about their struggles and their fears that kept them from making the switch and how they overcame them. I was inspired and each story I read began to lessen my fears and insecurities.
In 2018 I decided to leave my executive role and pursue my design career. I enrolled in classes and attend the Interior Designers Institute (IDI) in Newport Beach where I received my Interior Design Certification. A month after receiving my certification I started my own company and was lucky enough to get hired by a few clients to help with their interior design needs. Simple, clean, timeless and elegant are words that best describe my style.
I absolutely love what I do! Although I am new to the industry, I now know there are people out there who like my style, are interested in hearing what I have to say and would hire me. Thank you for stopping by and learning a little bit more about me how Studio G came to be!
